Hengshenda Group Berhad is the embarked on Ship to Ship (STS) transfers, having provided safe and efficient STS services.
- All Ship to Ship transfers are conducted and performed by Hengshenda Group are completed in accordance with the latest ICS / OCIMF guidelines, International Marine Forum (OCIMF) STS Transfer Guide, International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) guidelines, International Maritime Organization guidelines, Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 guidelines.
- The STS Operations management team consists of vessel Masters, pilots, and the STS Advisors.
- The overall control of an STS operation lies with the Master of each vessel involved. STS Advisors are responsible for ensuring a safe and coordinated STS transfer.
- Ship to Ship (STS) Transfer Operations involves the cargo transfer operations between 2 seagoing vessels, either while stationary or underway. HSD has embarked one of the another challenging and exciting sectors within the Marine Service Industry.
- HSD has paved the way in the STS Industry by introducing the Approved STS Trans-shipment Hub of Northern. Another milestone accredited to HGB is the partnership with Lumut Port, to establish the STS Trans-shipment Hub of Malaysia Northern region.
